Privacy policy

Staff Quest is a game that teaches you to read piano notes. This policy explains what the Staff Quest iPhone app and this website do, and do not, do with your information.

The short version

• The app has no accounts, no sign-up and no ads.
• The app does not collect personal information and does not use analytics or tracking.
• Your progress is stored on your own device.

What the app stores

To remember where you are, the app saves your progress on your device: stars, XP, level, streak, unlocked rewards, your settings and your best Arcade runs. This stays on your iPhone and is not sent to us.

If you use Backup in Settings, the app creates a text code containing your progress. You decide where to keep it, such as a note or a message. We never see it.

What the app does not do

• It does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts or photos.
• It does not use the microphone or camera.
• It does not include advertising or third-party analytics tools.
• It does not track you across other apps or websites.

Sharing a challenge

Arcade lets you share a challenge code or link with a friend. This uses your iPhone's share sheet, so you choose the app and the person. The code only describes a set of notes. It does not contain personal information.

This website

This website does not use cookies for tracking and does not run analytics. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and keep it secure.

If you send us a message through the support form, we receive what you type, including your email address, and use it only to reply. The form is delivered by a third-party form service, which passes your message on to us. We keep messages only as long as needed to help you.

Children

Staff Quest is intended for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, and the app has no features that ask for it.

Your rights

Because the app keeps your data on your device, you are in control of it. You can delete your progress at any time from Settings or by deleting the app. If you have contacted us and want your message removed, ask through the support page and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example by adding accounts or purchases, we will update this page before the change and change the date above.
